On a windswept plain flows a river that fertilises the farmers’ land. La Fabrique, a multinational cereal company, has its sights set on this land, ideal for a rice plantation, and is buying up a large number of plots at a high price.
This is the story of a woman who doesn’t want to sell her land, and of a man who is building a wall to prevent access to the river for his boss. Two poverties facing each other. Where winning means losing everything.
