Inspired by Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, the company has created an ode to the power of adolescence, combining poetry, music and dance.
I too often celebrate this age of desires, doubts and dilemmas, a zone of uncertainties and mutations. What torments and questions does this half-animal, half-human faun express? What echoes – outbursts, intoxications, budding – does it find in us today? With a cameo stage design and a poetic, immersive sound system, the project explores the duality and animality that inhabit the harsh age of moulting and roughness. But above all, of flamboyant blossoming.
