FAQ

To book your tickets, visit the official Les Tanneurs ticket office, accessible via our website or directly through our UTick shop. There you’ll find a full list of current and upcoming shows, including showtimes, prices and available options. The process is quick and easy: simply choose your date and the number of tickets you require, then complete the secure payment by credit card or Bancontact. Once your booking is confirmed, your e-tickets will be sent to you instantly by email. This system allows you to book theatre tickets at any time, entirely at your convenience, without having to visit a physical ticket office. If you have any questions or require assistance, our ticketing service is available by email at reservation@lestanneurs.be or by telephone on Tuesdays and Fridays from 2 pm to 6 pm, on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 1 pm to 5 pm, and on Saturdays when there is a performance from 3 pm to 5 pm.

Les Tanneurs are committed to making culture accessible through an inclusive pricing policy. The full price for a performance is 22 euros. Concessionary rates are available at 12 euros for those under 26, jobseekers and performing arts professionals, and at 17 euros for those over 65. The school and community group rate is 9 euros for groups from outside the neighbourhood and 5 euros for local groups. The rate for art school students is 8 euros. For those eligible under Article 27, the solidarity rate is 1.25 euros. We also offer a flexible season ticket scheme (4 shows or more), allowing you to put together your own season of shows at a preferential rate. Alternatively, there is the Carte Tanneurs, which is non-transferable (unlike the season ticket) and allows you to purchase 6 tickets for shows. Special offers are sometimes available in collaboration with our partners. Please do check our newsletter.

Once your ticket has been booked, it is unfortunately neither refundable nor exchangeable, in accordance with our general policy. However, if you are unable to attend a performance, you may transfer your ticket to a third party or request to reschedule your ticket to another date (subject to availability). Should the performance be cancelled by the Tanneurs team, you will receive a full refund. For any special requests, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so that we can offer you a suitable solution where possible.

Some shows sell out several days, or even several weeks, before the performance, particularly when they receive extensive media coverage, or when they are highly anticipated new productions or revivals. To be sure of getting a seat, it is advisable to book your theatre ticket at least a week in advance.

Yes, it is possible to buy tickets directly from the box office at the Théâtre Les Tanneurs in Brussels, subject to availability. For sold-out performances, a waiting list is usually available on the night at the box office. However, we recommend that you book in advance online for contemporary theatre performances, which are often sold out, rather than waiting until the night of the performance.

The box office usually opens 1½ hours before the performance begins. We strongly recommend arriving early so that you can collect any paper tickets you may have at your leisure, enter the auditorium in a relaxed manner, and explore the educational resources available in the foyer. Once the performance has started, entry may no longer be permitted, unless it is possible to enter discreetly without disturbing the performers or the audience (the admission procedure varies depending on the performance and the artistic team).

The usual performance times in the Grande Salle are as follows: 8.30 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, 7.15 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We also perform on some Sundays at 3 pm. For XS shows (i.e. short performances), the times are different as they are staged in the early evening (to give you the chance to enjoy an evening comprising two shows). They take place at 7.15 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, and at 6.15 pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Yes, performances in the Grande Salle are accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM). An accessible toilet is also available next to the entrance to the auditorium. We recommend that you contact the box office before your visit to ensure the best possible arrangements for your theatre experience in Brussels.

There are several pay-and-display car parks nearby (including Poelart, accessible via the lift) and parking spaces on the adjacent streets. For cyclists, there are several bike racks opposite the theatre and on the surrounding streets.

Yes, we have a restaurant – Le Resto des Tanneurs – which is open on performance evenings from 6 pm. You’ll find a concise, flavourful menu that prioritises organic and local produce and is prepared using seasonal ingredients. There’s also a wide selection of drinks on offer. Le Resto des Tanneurs is also open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday.

The Théâtre Les Tanneurs programme is available online on our official website. There you will find our full season of contemporary theatre in Brussels, including dates, performances, artists and ticketing information. You can also view our programme in our season brochure.

Every production we present is accompanied by a comprehensive information sheet, available online, which includes a summary of the artistic project, visuals, and sometimes a promotional video or teaser, as well as all the essential practical details: running time, language, hosting requirements and accessibility. You’ll discover productions led by the new generation of theatre artists, socially engaged art forms that challenge our times, experimental works that explore the boundaries of theatre and contemporary dance, and personal or documentary narratives that delve into the heart of the intimate. On our website (Magazine section) and our social media channels (Instagram / Facebook), we also share interviews with the creative teams, images from rehearsals and insights into the creative process. This content offers you exclusive access to the world of the performances, providing a more direct and vivid experience even before you step through the theatre doors.
